Q1:What CAD platforms do you operate?
A1: In alphabetical order we use:
- Altium
- Cadence Allegro
- Mentor PADs.
Q2: What Schematic output do you require?
A2: We require either of the following outputs, Altium, Concept, Orcad, PADS and Protel
Q3: What is PortaCAD?
A3: PortaCAD is a service where our engineer will work on your site using either your CAD platform or we can supply our engineer with a licensed portable system.
Q4: How do we charge for designs?

Our pricing structure is agreed at the time of quotation.
The customer can choose our day or hourly rate services, especially useful for PortaCAD or if the information is likely to change during the design. However, if you opt for our fixed price then the quote is based solely on the supplied information at the time of quotation, however, we do reserve the right to revise any quotes should the information change from that information supplied at the original time of quoting.
Q5: What is HDI?
A5: High Density Interconnect circuitry comprises of areas of densely populated component placements, usually with high layer counts.
Q6: What markets are you working in?
A6: We cover a wide spectrum of market sectors that include semiconductor, aerospace, space, telecommunications, instrumentation and broadcast.
Q7: Do you offer other services?
A7: Yes, we provide a complete solution for your printed circuit board needs although not necessarily all undertaken in-house. To offer our range of services we have established a partner program where we engage with professional and expert companies, both in the UK and abroad who can provide added value services that our customers require.
Q8: Can you manage whole projects?
A8: Yes, although we must point out projects usually require the supplier to meet with special terms and conditions. It is our policy to meet with the customer to discuss all the project requirements and the terms required. We regret that we are unable to provide any estimates or quotations without a complete project specification.
Q9: Are you interested in quoting small boards?
A9: We are always interested in quoting your printed circuit board requirements. This question is probably the most asked of us, simply because we are seen as a company who are known for high specification boards. The truth is, we are focused on all customer needs and therefore we will never refuse a quotation unless it is out of our normal scope of business.
